Dr. Bilgen Coşkun
Bilgen completed his undergraduate degree in the field of Business Administration at Bilkent University and his MA degree at Fachhochschule Osnabrück in International Business and Management. He continued with his PhD studies in Brand Management and Communication at Steinbeis-University Berlin. He has been consulting global fashion and lifestyle brands such as GAP, Esprit, Zalando, Gerry Weber, GQ, Dazed and Confused, Beiersdorf, L'Oréal, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Turkcell and Nokia concerning brand strategy, product/collection development, communication and retail management for over 10 years. He has been teaching in the Department of Fashion Design and Management at Mediadesign Hochschule Munich and contributing to local and global magazines about design and art. Besides leading the Fashion Management Department at Istanbul Moda Academy, Bilgen Coşkun teaches fashion marketing communications, fashion management, trend and market research and contemporary fashion brand management.
Dilek follows up the rising values emerging in the arts&design scene, creating and managing content in between inspiring profiles and cities and continues to work on the design communication field since 2007. She worked as an editor at Arkitera Architecture Centre from 2009 to 2011, then she took charge of Tasarım and Frame The Great Indoors Turkey as Editor in Chief till 2014. She worked as Events and Communication Manager at Design Foundation Istanbul from 2014 to 2016. She directs Design Unlimited Magazine which is published twice a year. She is a part time lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University Architecture Faculty; giving lectures on Design Writing and Human&Environment.
From September 2016, she established Istanbul-in-Between as a platform where she gathered her communication network
